DON'T GET FANCY, JUST GET DANCE-Y

This past weekend was Tri Delt formal. It's the biggest social event our sorority puts on during the Spring semester and the girls who planned, organized, and basically made it all happen did such a wonderful job! Our group took pictures at Cameron Park amidst fields of bluebonnets (oh hey there Texas pride) and then headed to Jason's Deli afterwards for dinner. I still find it slightly hilarious that we got all dolled up and then went to eat at Jason's, but I loved it. Good food, good seating, good prices, good times. After a mild crisis involving my roommate, lost keys, Jimmy John's and a trapped Bingley (no worries, the crisis was easily averted, keys recovered, & Bingley's safe and sound!) we made it to The Roosevelt Ballroom in Downtown Waco. I've been to a wedding reception there before and it was beautiful. However that night was less of a white gloves, big dress, ballroom feel and much more of a chic night club kind of atmosphere. Needless to say, I'm not sure we ever left the dance floor, save for the sake of hydration. So fun! Also, did I mention I had the best date? My friend Austin delivered (quite creatively I might add) these beauties that afternoon which was SO kind, a huge surprise, and such a great start to the night!

Oh and how could I forget! The playing of this song basically made our night. Choreographed line dancing for the win. Classic.
